I’m Cora, the creator behind Cora’s Cozy Corner. I started crocheting when I was 8 or 9 and have been going strong ever since! I love learning new techniques and pushing myself to expand my crocheting knowledge.
I taught myself how to crochet using a beginner crochet book and the single plastic crochet hook that came with it. I’d have to say that it was probably one of the best Christmas presents I’ve received! Armed with my chain stitch and single crochet stitch, I felt unstoppable… for a while anyway. Eventually, I wanted to learn how to do more so I turned to ancient needlecraft books (definitely something my mom ended up with from the 70s!) and eventually online tutorials. At the time, I had no friends or relatives who crocheted so I was really off on my own. All that is to say that if I could learn how to crochet, YOU CAN TOO!
That’s what my little corner is all about – learning and growing. There is so much more of the world of crochet that I have yet to explore, and I’d love to have you come along with me!
